Today, the Multimedia Centre at CRISP proudly announced the successful conclusion of the 4th in-house Batch of the 10-day Training of Trainers (ToT) program focused on the Sound Editor job role, sponsored by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). This comprehensive residential program trained 20 participants, culminating in an online assessment conducted by the Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) on the final day.
The program was designed to equip trainers with essential domain-specific practical skills critical to the sound editing field. Participants engaged in hands-on learning experiences, gaining expertise in audio mixing, sound design, and editing techniques that are crucial for creating high-quality audio content.
In addition to technical training, the program also emphasized platform training, covering vital employability skills that included effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Participants were trained in on-the-job practices, ensuring they are well-prepared to transition into real-world environments. Moreover, the curriculum incorporated workplace health and safety protocols, empowering trainees to maintain safe working conditions in their future roles.
The Training of Trainers initiative at CRISP aims to develop skilled professionals who can lead and mentor others in the fast-evolving media landscape. By combining practical knowledge with a focus on essential soft skills, CRISP is committed to nurturing talent and supporting the growth of the sound editing industry.
